Owner of a Lonely Heart isn't on that album.

However, 90125 is one of my favourite Yes albums.

It's not one of my favorites, but it's better than any prog fanboys gives it credit for.

Prog fanboys just have this habit of dismissing everything pop, and dismissing everything pop as "generic" pop no matter how inventive and original it actually is. I've heard prog fans describe everything from Remain in Light to King Crimson's Discipline as "generic 80s pop", they're fucking morons.

New record store opened about two, three miles from where I live. Dude who owns it used to play in a band with Captain Beefheart (seriously, anyone over the age of 60 who lives out here seems to have been in one of his bands at some point, and they all say he's insane) and has a massive record collection that he's not even halfway stocking into the store. But anyway, got these three on vinyl for a total of $10:

Mitch got me this for my birthday...

...on vinyl. Quadruple LP deluxe release.

On the day of my birthday I was wandering through town with friends and found an awkward little secondhand store down an alleyway. Asked if they had any records, and they only had a few but they were actually some real gems. Scored myself these:

It seems pretty crazy to me that I could've spent years looking big stores in the city for some of those albums on vinyl, and turns out they were right under my nose in a tiny shop here in my little hometown.

 Glad you recognise it. 'Tis a legendary album, among KISS fans at least, even if for all the wrong reasons... I actually think it's got some real gems on it, it's just the concept of KISS making a prog-influenced fantasy concept album that's ridiculous.

Let's not forget that this the same group who also took it upon themselves to tackle disco and grunge at different points throughout their career...

I think they actually did some great songs in Carnival of Souls, "Master & Slave" is awesome song.
