Wait, why is Song number two on the street list? I know he's got amazing technical abilities, but he's way behind guys like Koston, Cole, Thomas, and Rodriguez in terms of impact and influence. Also, I don't see how you can have Chris Cole above Jamie Thomas. Chris Cole just took Jamie Thomas's "do this trick but over as big a gap as possible!!!" philosophy and ran with it, but Thomas is the OG big-gap skater.
Also also, Koston and Rodriguez blow my mind. They're not quite up to par with Daewon in the tech area (manuals, grinds, ledges, etc.), but they also have more variety. They hit stairs (big ones), gaps, handrails, AND they're both pretty much as good switch as they are regular. I'd probably put the street list like this:
1. Rodney Mullen (by a fucking mile)
2. Eric Koston
3. Jamie Thomas
4. Daewon Song
5. Paul Rodriguez maybe? He's not nearly as old as any of the other guys in the top 5, so I don't know how he holds up in impact and influence, especially since I don't follow skating anymore, but he's certainly got the talent to hang with those guys.
