I'm with Wanted, It's definitely on the "what". I think the fact that switches to falsetto on a "H" sound (wahaaaaat I like to do) might be throwing you off.

TBH I think it's really lame how Journey are suddenly so immensely popular in the Phillipines, purely because they now have a Filipino singer.

I want to hear him give Mother, Father a shot. Castronovo is a good singer but his voice is really weak and thin.

Arnel screams Faithfully, and often goes flat on sustained higher notes.

Perry was the quintessential Journey singer and live singer!

Arnel couldn't sing Mother, Father, his voice is quite lower than Perry's and he is not that good. Castronovo sounds decent...
Have you heard Augeri singing it, he did a nice job!

Come on, Arnel's not bad, he is far from Steve, but he's not bad...

He's bad at singing Journey songs! I have listened and done comparisons between Perry and Arnel! I have never heard Steve scream and go flat on sustained notes. Journey songs aren't "screaming hard rock" songs.
