Blade Runner and Alien should be in italics, IMO.

I really hope the planned Alien prequel is well made. I head rumors it was going to get a PG-13 rating

Hopefully it won't be. I really don't know why he continues to make films at Fox; they're forever fucking up his movies.

I think it would be an enormous shame if we got a lame, watered down, profit first film. Especially after all of the disgusting AVP films that have tarnished the saga.

Well he's directing it himself so I don't think we're going to get a lame profit first film, but that's how Fox markets his films for some reason.

No they should not because Body of Lies is shite. It's more like a Tony Scott movie and is probably the worst film he has made that I've seen.

Kingdom of Heaven is generally underrated and Gladiator is underrated by way of too many people saying its overrated (and is still one of my favorite action epics, or whatever genre you call it).

Sword and Sandal would be more accurate, I suppose, but yeah it's probably my all time favourite historical action epic. I highly recommend the 2-disc Blu-Ray SE.

well it does take place during a period in ancient history. what constitutes a "historical" film to you? pre-babylonian?

historical is sometimes assumed to also mean accurate, which it isnt (and not meant to be, so i dont mind at all)

Well yeah I definitely wasn't using "historical" in that sense, but I thought that was obvious.
