Why'd Black page move down so much? That's like the definitive live rock performance.

Wait, nevermind. It's fine at #12. I struggled listening to it. It's just a complete mess IMO. What makes it the definitive live performance?

That's what happens when you ask Zappa for a "Challenge." Need I say more? That's terry at his very best.

It's no more painful then 10 minutes of triplets anyway.

The Black Page is like the hardest thing to play ever (on this list), so it should be higher than #12. It's definitely top 5, probably top 3. It has influence too, and is often regarded as one of the most technically difficult live drum pieces (though Vinnie C sight read it, and played sections of it with one hand while eating a bite of sushi with chopsticks and then pushing up his glasses with the other hand).

 Yeah really. I'd like to know if Zappa, Boz or the producer ever admitted to seeing that.

What about this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3CJxDpWZfk. Myth or man Dave Lombardo. It is probably the best I've heard him live.

Did you ever about the Mike Mangini story?? Apparantly, Mike Mangini, being the offical fastest durmmer on the earth, can play the black page with ones side of his body (left hand and left foot or right hand and right foot), while playing something completely differant with the other side of his body. It's an urban legend, but i dunno... I watched Mangini play... he's pretty fuckin' fast. And he's broken the record for most notes per minute.

Yeah, but there are a LOT of guys that are like 50 strokes per minute off.

His one hand shit is just plain discouraging though.

His signature sticks are also fucking ace to play with. Zildjian make em.
Yeah, that guy is jsut TOO fast.
He did a clinic here a few months ago, but it was like 2 hours out of town and i dont drive. :( Would've be fucked up being that it was in a club that only held about 80 people.
