Haha, yeah he's a Simpson but you know what I mean. Non-main 5 Simpsons. I think Abe is one of the most underrated characters. He has some ridiculously awesome quotes and they've based some really good jokes around him. My friend and I made that list about a year ago (we're really boring people) and we had Moe at #1 originally. I think Moe is the king of one-line quotes but Burns has the best episodes based around him. I also love when Burns speaks in his really outdated language.

"They sing without juicers, they sing without blenders, they sing without flungers, cabdabblers, and smendlers!"

"Oh, Tuttle's Sunday trousers. Fear not, I'll get you to a hospital -- the only way I know how. Smithers, you infernal ninny, stick your left hoof on that flange, now! Now, if you can get it through your bug-addled brain, jam that second mephitic clodhopper of yours on the right doodad! Now pump those scrawny chicken legs, you stuporous funker!"

I love that episode where Burns uses phrenology to try and prove his point about something.

Skinner's one of my very favourites. Especially when he's in Vietnam flashback mode.

Have you seen that episode where Skinner locks up Nelson, Jimbo etc in the storeroom after promising them a new bike? His reaction when he remembers that they're still there after hours have passed is priceless.

Ralph's one of the most overrated characters in my opinion. He's one of the first to really start caricaturing himself and turned into this character with no depth whatsover. Obviously his peak is the valentines day episode, which he is pretty great in. Still, a ridiculously popular character and is one of the most quoted.

Milhouse: A walking clock?
Nelson: A walking clock!
Martin: I'd wager he has some variety of walking clock in that box!
Edna: Bart, is it a walking clock?
Bart: What?.....No, it's my dog.

Martin's delivery of that line is hilarious.

ralph is now probably the worst one-line character on the show, and one of the most abused characters for cheap laughs (and most of the time he's barely amusing)

Definitely he's been very abused as throwaway pre-Ad break line guy. As well as the fourth wall breaker guy.
