On Georgi's request, some Chicago house songs.

Firstly, the full length 8 1/2 minute version of Frankie Knuckles' and Jamie Principle's "Baby Wants to Ride" is one of the best things EVER EVER EVER.

That's depressing. Berlin techno is so awesome. Moritz Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus are pretty much in my top 3 artists ever by this point.

basic channel is pretty much religious music, utterly hypnotic stuff

if ~35% of berlin's tourism industry is for the nightlife/techno, i'm sure a lot of the scene will suffer from this ruling. i don't think it's going to close down, but they'll probably have to hike prices up way high to compensate. which again, is pretty shitty but better than nothing

all this stupid fuss for no reason really

I have this weird thing with Tricky albums where I can't be interrupted/pause while listening to them or I won't like the rest of the songs remaining, but if I manage to listen to an album of his the whole way through, it's always fantastic. (Doesn't apply to Blowback or Vulnerable though).

So guys I've been trying to get more into electronic music lately and I don't really know where to start. Any recommendations? I like a lot of the 80's inspired synth stuff I've been hearing lately.

A bit of shameless self-promotion...kinda. This is a remix of one of our tracks that a local producer made, if anyone would like to have a listen. I'm extremely impressed with what he achieved with the track, and it has a completely different feel as the original. A little bit John Talabot-esque perhaps
