SSLP may be Juvenile but I'll take juvenile over the cheesy emo bullshit whinefest that is Recovery. That album is so bad it ruined most of his discography for me.

Wrong

Nothing on Recovery is as laughably juvenile as the lyrics in Just Dont Give A Fuck.

Who cares?

Eminem is one of the few guys who can really embody what he's talking about, instead of rapping it feels like a conversation. He manages to rhyme while still not sacrificing the meaning and at least on his early LPs always kept that incredibly dark, tongue-in-cheek humour in tact. He's gotten repetitive though, but I still blast the slim shady/marshall mathers lp from time to time, flow is classeeek

Man I really wish the Lyricists thread was more active. I love doing those 'top 10 lyrical performances from lyricists' lists...

What would Eminem's look like? Now there's something to think about. :irish:

Dont treat me like Pee Wee Herman, this movie is P.G.!

Anyway, I'd think that Infinite would make his top 10 for sure. It's absolute lyrical perfection, there's even a few lines in there where he's doing 8-syllable rhyming......EIGHT fucking syllables! The overall skill being displayed is just phenomenal, especially for such an early song in his career.

I let the beat commence
so I can beat some sense
in your elite defense.
I got some meat to mince,
Fruit to stomp,
and then two feet to rinse.
