His voice does fit the music, as it did when he sang for Crimson Glory.

I just came here to post about this guy touring with Queensrÿche members. Personally I think he sounds awesome. Although the band's publicist says that Queensrÿche has not pushed Tate out, at this stage I couldn't care less if they did. They've been putting out albums ranging from mediocre to flat-out awful for a very long time now, and Tate can't sing anymore anyway.

Yeah, looking forward to hearing what they can come up with. Only thing missing now is Chris DeGarmo, but I doubt he'll abandon his job to tour with something like this.

The Brothel is the best song by a female singer-songwriter ever.

Yngtchie,
I am really starting to appreciate Kai Hansen more as a vocalist, even on Walls Of Jericho, which is absolutely BLOWING ME AWAY as I listen to it all.
Honestly, as much as I adore Keeper II, I think WoJ is the best Helloween album.

Badass sung F5's in the chorus. Imo he sounds better than Kiske up there.

To me he sounds how Tate would sound like now (tonally) if his range were intact. The crowd is much more into it than when I saw Queensrÿche a couple years back.

Watching this makes it painfully obvious to little it takes for a Norwegian singer to be highly rated. This guy was considered the best of the season...

It's not bad, it's just... eh.

REALLY? I mean, it wasn't awful, but man, that was probably the most neutral/mediocre performance of all time.
