Actually now that I think about it, Awakening of the Gods should be here.

1. Riot of Violence
2. Pleasure To Kill
3. Flag of Hate
4. Agents of Brutality
5. Betrayer
6. People of the Lie
7. Terribile Certainty
8. Under The Guillotine
9. Awakening of the Gods
10. Enemy of God

Next up Black Label Society. There are way too many songs from 1919 Eternal and not nearly enough from the first two.

A couple that could appear from the first two are:

Love Reign Down
Bored To Tears
The Beginning...at Last
Phoney Smiles & Fake Hellos

It doesn't really matter what albums their from, as long as the songs belong there.

I mean I think all four of those songs are better than Suicide Messiah.

I don't. Plus Suicide is one of their all time biggest songs, next to Stillborn.

Not really. If any song is big from that album (besides In This River), its Fire it Up. Mostly because of the talkbox technique with the song.

Suicide Messiah was the highest placing single by nearly ten places, and is a bigger live staple than Fire It Up.

It may seem cliche to move on to Maiden, but this needs some serious work.
There is no conceivable way that The Trooper should be #2, imo. If anything, Phantom should take that spot. It is a brilliantly written masterpiece that would be somewhat of a catalyst for songs like Hallowed in the near future.
Also, the lack of Iron Maiden on the list is astounding. It was their anthem, their concert set-closer for a number of years, one of the very first recorded examples of speed/thrash metal, and just an inconic song to boot.
Also, POWERSLAVE needs to be here. Fuck Alexander.

Quote:
Iron Maiden

1. Hallowed Be Thy Name (Number of the Beast)
2. The Trooper (Piece of Mind)
3. Number of the Beast (Number of the Beast)
4. Run to the Hills (Number of the Beast)
5. Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Powerslave)
6. Phantom of the Opera (Iron Maiden)
7. Aces High (Powerslave)
8. 2 Minutes to Midnight (Powerslave)
9. Fear of the Dark (Fear of the Dark)
10. Alexander the Great (Somewhere in Time)

Fuck you.

First of all Trooper should be #2 in every conceivable way. It's more iconic than Number of the Beast.

If Powerslave should replace anything it should be Fear of the Dark.

And Iron Maiden should replace Alexander.

You are mad. Mad, I tell you.
The Trooper kicks all kinds of ass, but so does most of Maiden's whole early catalogue. What makes it more iconic than Number, Phantom, or Powerslave?

Fear is a HUGE crowd favorite, that's actually a tough one...

Good man.

1. Hallowed
2. Phantom
3. Number Of The Beast
4. The Trooper
5. Run To The Hills
6. Rime
7. Aces High
8. Fear Of The Dark
9. 2 Minutes To Midnight
10. Iron Maiden

Well for one thing, Trooper is also a crowd favorite, the riff and non-lyrical chorus is iconic, even the cover-art is more merchandised than anything from Number (a frivolous extension, but it stands).

I want a third opinion on Iron Maiden. I can't believe I'm actually hearing it should be top 10. I've heard quite a few people say it's one of their worst songs ever (I disagree, but still).

Iron Maiden is also a crowd favorite and, unlike Trooper, it is never left out of a show, and is usually the closer. Same thing with Number. Your argument falls apart on different levels.

Live favorite? Not really. They haven't taken it out because they think some retarded space-time continuum will open up and shit-dicknipples all over everyone. In other words, because they're too stupid to.
