Lost count of how many bullshit fouls that were called on San Antonio and fouls that weren't called committed by OKC in the second half. Like the nullified 3 by a phantom blocking foul on Manu. What crap.

Pierce has never struck me as particularly athletic for an NBA player. Can you elaborate?

i just think people get the impression that hes unathletic but he actually is a lot quicker than you'd think. he never dunks the ball when he easily could but he doesnt waste his energy slamming one down unless he needs to (get the crowd going). hes been one of the most versatile players in the nba over the last 12-14 years. he doesnt look particularly athletic. i suppose hes more strong than athletic but dude can ball. hes the truth.

The charge call that went against him for the 5th foul? Yeah that was straight up bullshit given that Harden was shuffling straight forward and only managed to draw contact by ramming Manu with his beard and flopping like a dead fish. And it had no effect on anything as Manu had long passed it away and basically come to a stop. That's the classic case for a no call but if anything it should be made three plus Ginobli shooting. That really turned the game (not that the Spurs didn't miss countless make chances).

yeah that one. he stopped, elbows down, got rid of the ball, harden ran into him and threw himself to the floor. would've been a 1-point game plus momentum. then a minute later parker got clobbered on the baseline right in front of an official who didn't flinch. jackson's technical was bullshit. durant went to the line if you gave him a mean look or entered his bubble. there were a couple other really dubious charges when feet were still shuffling, and one when durant swung the ball across his body and tried to dribble by jackson, but ended up putting the ball right into his arms, and jackson ripped at it, durant lost the ball, but they called a foul on jackson who got all ball first and durant got to shoot 2.

they did miss a ton of important shots though. but still crap officiating.

This last one was totally legit. That was a classic rip-move play that Durant has perfected. They actually changed the rule this year that this is no longer a shooting foul but they were in the bonus so he goes to the line.

ok. i didn't know the exact interpretation. i thought if jackson had his arms on the ball before durant completed the motion which then concluded with his arms making contact after the ball was coming loose then it wouldn't be a foul.

i'm bitter right now, but i'm still really excited for okc and KD to get number 1. i wish duncan got 5 though. :(

I had made a bet on the Spurs yes (it was made back in the 2nd round). However, if Boston wins tonight I'm guaranteed a 50 dollar payout (because my friend loses two Miami related bets) and if the LA Kings win the Stanley Cup (which they almost certainly will) that becomes 100.

Lebron's technical was legitimate, that is definitely a delay of game. The KG one was ridiculous tho
