To further add to the excitement of this already ridiculously good time for music, I have just been shown what is probably the most extraordinary musical experience I've had since at least Burial's 'Kindred' EP. The track below is 'Half-Lucid' by Colourwaves, an electronic/ambient musician, and the EP is fucking orgasmic. Think Tim Hecker's 'Harmony in Ultraviolet' with beats n shit... easily up there for the best record of the year so far I think. This probably should've been posted in the electronic thread, but it deserves all the attention it can get

Just giving the new Liars album a listen. It features a sample of Basic Channel's "Octagon" on it, which is always a good sign.

Excellent news! I had a major obsession with Night Falls Over Kortedala about a month ago. Pop music does not get better than that album.

Yep! That's one of my favourites. Did you hear his EP at the end of last year.

The title track was awesome and some of Jens' best lyrics (which is saying a lot).

If his new album is all that good I will be very happy.
