I think How Soon is Now? was the first Smiths song I ever heard. I was probably 11 or 12, and it didn't resonate with me, but that might have been because at that tender young age I didn't really understand the lyrics. I heard the Queen of Dead a few years later and loved it, so when I heard How Soon is Now in a different context I was a big fan.
