The Avengers now has the biggest opening weekend in history.

and going for the first movie to ever top 100 mil on its second weekend

after the trailer for battleship the packed theater was filled with embarrassed chuckles, which ended up making more people laugh but with with less reserve.

I think everyone's curious to see the SuperHeroes together and the film doesn't actually suck balls..It has good action sequences and plays for the audiences with the clever use of the Hulk who takes over much of the best action scenes in the last half..so offcourse people mingle and talk about these moments and the word of mouth gets around that its a film males and females along with families can easily watch and enjoy while munching away at their Popcorns!

The slow motion shots don't go with the tone of the film at all, imo. Hopefully they're just in the trailer.

i was kind of thinking that it's only the trailer but what i didn't like (again hoping its only for the trailer) was the music..just didn't fit in with the feel of the film..anyway i love the genre and the cast seems top notch so we wait and see.

My hype for The Hobbit has dwindles slightly ever since I read the lukewarm reactions to the first footage shown. I don't think it's ever a good idea to show people unfinished parts of a film.

we have the same top 9 except ordered differently i think. rock of ages looks potentially really fun. i don't think i've had 9 (10 counting avengers) such highly anticipated movies in a single year before. normally i start finding out about the movies as they start getting hyped near their release dates, but all of these i've known about for a while and can't wait to see.

pave, Rock of Ages? I've actually started using that trailer as an excuse to go to the bathroom before every movie I see.
