How about some Triumvirat? Illusions On a Double Dimple comes to mind.
And the Soft Machine pick is great beaver, pure insanity.
Also, nice to see Argent on there. AWESOME organ player.
How about some Eno stuff?

Btw, "Southbound" is majorly Chuck Leavell, who plays the piano, while Allman plays the organ in the background.

But on the subject of good performances by Leavell, the piano solo in "Jessica" is wicked, should be a great addition to the list.

The incredible Ken Hensley, he needs to be discussed more.
Wicked solo toward the end.

Not to be too critical, since others have already said that without criteria this is just a collection of someone's favorites, but even so the list is just a compilation of about 15 names with the majority of performances and almost all artists from the same basic era/style. The piano was the dominant instrument (along with tenor sax) for rock's first decade and there's no entries from that period at all? That's just incomprehensible. Rock history means ALL of rock history, not just one tiny section.

Here's Professor Longhair doing a live version of Big Chief, the song he cut with Earl King back in the late 50's. He does it the same on the original record, but this way you get to see the legendary Fess, older and grayer but still smokin', in action. Live At Montreux in 1973.

^Damn that was great, Sampson. Talk about a deserving legend!

Beaver/anyone else, if you like trippy atmospheric organ, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the following:

We're in agreement on that; the current list is extremely outdated.

The most underrated gem in The Doors' catalogue.
Talk about conveying atmosphere with a piano...this never fails to gives me chills...

I think I'm going to add "Look At Yourself" by Uriah Heep to this list. It's a crime that Hensley doesn't have anything on here. Is 31 okay with you guys?

Hensley is a monster.
But you dont think Gypsy is his best?

Killer solo...and one of my favorite intros of any rock song ever.

It's awesome, but I happen to like "Look at Yourself" more. He's basically leading the entire song with organ.

I've been thinking of him lately as what Jon Lord would sound like without classical training. Hensley is the blues to Lord's Bach.

Then you need to hear this one too, also from the Look At Yourself album...
