Broncs have been looking fantastic this season. The halves have really stepped up in Lockyer's absense..

have to agree quinn , broncos have been solid, but the warrior's outplayed them tonight, i picked warriors in my tips because the broncos don't travel over there well. Storm just look unbeatable atm, i cant see anyone beating them, even when they're stretched they find something, i hate to admit it because i love to hate the storm, but they must be $1.04 to win it.

some say this is true, he is probably the best player of the last 10 years, its just too hard to say because the game has changed, clive churchill has always been considered the greatest player and fullback, but some now say slater is, jarryd hayne phenomenal in 2009 but he couldn't sustain it. im always of the belief that there are best players in positions, and you can only compare positions and era's. im happy to say slater in the best fullback of the modern era, but the way inglis is going at fullback he may surpass billy as well.

Inglis is barely qualified to tie Billy's shoe laces. He's an athlete not a footballer.

As far as I've seen Andrew Johns and Slater are the two best of the last 15 years or so.

Inglis is a great player, but Slater is a far better fullback.

I know where Dom stands on this, but who would you consider the better player out of of Lockyer and Thurston?

mint im not in agreeance with you stating that inglis is just an athlete's he's definitley both. Slater is a freak no doubt and is no1 player in the game now and best fullback, but the way inglis is going at fullback right now he is even surpassing slater. remember that inglis a few years back was dally M five eighth of the year, hes been centre of the year, Bellamy was going to put him fullback at storm a couple of years back and move slater to the wing that's how good bellamy thought inglis could be there, im confident he will get dally M fullback of the year this year, that's my prediction.

lockyer for me, thurston is very good and will probably go down as one of the best halves, but lockyer just had that cool calm, confidence about him and won broncos, QLD and Australia games on the back of that.

Damnit, it'd be great to make a list, but there's only about 5 people that'd help.

you mean a greatest players list ? i wouldn't mind doing a top 100 and then we can discuss/argue about it, fives better than one i suppose. could do a separate league/union list?

Lockyer isn't fit to shine the boots of Thurston.
