so armando ianucci has premiered on american tv and y'all are still watching community and fuckin' big bang theory

anyone else watching this? julia louis dreyfus is pretty good, as is tony hale. it's getting better by the passing episode too. for anyone watching on hbo, it's on right after game of thrones.

Community>Veep but Veep=really good

I forget the exact joke but Tony Hale had a very Busteresque moment in the last episode.

This show is fantastic.

"You work at the White House? Oh my god, can I blow you?"

But yes, Community > Veep, at least for now anyway.

Veep is pretty damn funny but it's not better than Community or Parks and Rec by any stretch of the imagination.

I watched the first episode, and started watching the second one, but I can't seem to get into it. I realize it's good, but... I dunno, maybe it takes time before it 'clicks'?

It's well on its way to having a superior season to Season 4 of Parks and Rec.

Yeah but that's only because the back half of P&R's season has been the same episode eight times. The front half was great.

I've enjoyed both episodes so far. It's not necessarily always laugh out loud funny but very enjoyable.

I agree the last was probably the best.

I'm a huge Iannucci fan, but I didn't like this as much as some of his other stuff. Just seemed like a bit of a re-hash of The thick of It.

the thick of it is pretty unbeatable, because of peter capaldi and chris addison. julia louis dreyfus is good but she doesn't have that kind of venom that malcolm tucker uses to make the show anchor around him
