on any list on guitar albums ever conceived, a Pumpkins album in the top 50 sounds wrong, heck, top 100 even.

It doesnt make sense though that an album like Ten (which I also love) is in the 70s,and BSSM by the Chili Peppers, as far as 90s releases go, and Siamese Dream isnt on the list?

And Siamese Dream absurd for a top 100 guitar album list? Um...have yall even heard the album? Its a pretty highly regarded release in terms of production and critical acclaim no mater what Billy Corgan shits out nowadays. The bad stigma of that band shouldnt detract from the greatness of that album.

The guitar work on that album is very impressive.Top 30 was an exaggeration but it should be on the list atleast.

Id like to see yall arguments of Ten, BSSM and other 90s releases over it.

... for those of us that are not American, is "Yall" singular or plural ... as one might believe "all Yall" would be plural, leaving Yall singular ... Take care

I don't know what list you're even talking about, but no one here is claiming that Ten is a great guitar album.

Don't be silly, Gray. Both albums clearly belong in the top 100.

That list is from 2005.
Click on page 1 of THIS thread to see the 'newer' list, though we're still working on it.
Very slowly though...

Siamese Dream I could see. I just don't see it in the top thirty.

Oh sure, but I don't think people should reflexively dismiss it because like2throw's grandiose claims about it.
