These are all pretty much 10/10, but Pet Sounds was legitimately my favourite album at one point, so I'll go with the Beach Boys.

3 good to great albums, and then Sgt. Peppers which absolutely sucks. If it had been Revolver/Rubber Soul Beatles would win easily.

Revolver is pretty much the greatest moment in the history of western civilization to me.

The other three are all albums I enjoy and admire, but more the latter than the former. Each is great in its own way, but I don't love any of them dearly.

So easy vote for The Beatles. But Pepper against Pet Sounds or Smile one-on-one would be tougher.

SMiLE holds a special place in my heart. I love all of these but those aren't my favorite Beatles records...Beach Boys it is.

Abbey Road and Rubber Soul would be a better combo, but SMiLE and Pet Sounds mean the world to me, and no two Beatles albums can top them.
