Great list. I certainly cannot argue about your #1. Makes me long again for the 70's. My personal favorites on your list are #6, Deep Purple Made in Japan, and #12, Johnny Winter and Live. The dueling guitars of Johnny vs Rick Derringer on "it's my own fault", make it one of my favorite blues performances.

I reckon Scorpions Tokyo tapes could be a bit higher. Certainly a greater and better live guitar album than Cheap Trick Live at Buddakan. Uli is/was a monster live.

Uli was a beast indeed. Highway, have you heard his solo in "Catch Your Train"? One of his best.

I love that I still get called Highway...ah nostalgia! And yes, I just listened to that a couple hrs ago. Awesome. I think my faves of his are "We'll Burn the Sky" and "Sails of Charon". Taken by Force has to be one of the most underrated hard rock albums from the 70s.

Yes!! Though I like some of their 80s stuff, their early shit is WAYY better!!
