1. The Beatles (changed my view on music completely. Before them, I listened to fuckin glam metal shit from the 80's. I was a fan of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard and Motley Crue, but ever since I got into The Beatles, I haven't listened to any of those shitty bands since).

2. Radiohead (i personally like them better than The Beatles, but I probably wouldn't have listened to them without The Beatles).

3. Kanye West (This guy got me into rap, and made me feel dumb for not listening to artists like Run DMC, 2pac, Eric B & Rakim, Public Enemy, etc.).

4. Led Zeppelin (Possibly the inventors of heavy metal. Each member is considered at the top of their craft).

5. U2 (Dominated the late 80's-early 90's, and have released three outstanding albums in the last ten years).

6. Jimi Hendrix (Hands down the greatest guitar player of all-time and it's not even close. Nobody did more for any instrument than Hendrix did for the guitar...maybe).

7. Pink Floyd (Probably the only prog band to have wild success. In my opinion, Pink Floyd was better than Zeppelin in the 70's, but Zeppelin easily beat Floyd in the 60's and that's why they have the edge).

8. Dream Theater (Dream Theater was actually my favorite band for nearly a year, but after a while the 10-minute songs kind of bored me. Still great, just not as great as I once thought).

9. The Who (The Who probably did invent heavy metal, or not. I don't know. Anyways, like Zeppelin, each member of the band is outstanding at their craft).

10. The Rolling Stones (I think The Rolling Stones are the most overrated band in music history. They were amazing in the 60's, released a few great song but still fell off in the 70's, and just completely fell from the 80's until now. With that being said, they have released some of the most classic songs of all-time).

That's why I added the "...maybe" at the end because I'm not sure. Also, Andres Segovia, yeah that guy...cool...awesome bro. Don't really care to much for him. This was in terms of my musical taste. What I was trying to say is that nobody played the guitar like Hendrix did, in my opinion. Like I know other people did things for their instrument like Hendrix did the guitar, but not to me. I don't know if that makes sense.
