Crouch is a damn fine player. He's Stoke's top scorer by a fair margin.

He is great with the ball at his feet for being such a hobbledehoy.

Stoke are a horrible side though. I sat about 10 yards from Tony Pulis at Spurs last week. He gave me earache. He did not shut up for 90 minutes. They have no style whatsoever. Effective though, have to give them that.

has stoke even scored more than 2 goals against an epl side this year? they're awful...i mean it's painful to watch them play. it's not necessarily negative, it's certainly not attacking minded...their style is how nick described it..just absent.

Rory Delap is as good a reason as any to watch Stoke! I like Kenwyne Jones and Ryan Shotton too.

Crouch has scored 8 goals this season which puts him in pretty good company, regardless of how Stoke perform as a team overall.

Leading stoke in scoring is really no achievement. They haven't even scored 30 as a team and 8 isn't really impressive. It's like being the top marksman in an all blind infantry. I would never pay a transfer fee for crouch.

at least Stoke has a Crouch, Everton's leading scorer is Baines and he only has 4 goals. Now there's a team that needs a striker.
