Shane was your favourite character? A swaggering, whiny, sociopathic neanderthal? Jesus Brien...

It's one down two to go as far as I'm concerned. Kill off Carrrl and Lori and I'll be over the fucking moon.

When your solution to every problem is shooting it I don't think you can be described as remotely sensible. Shane is a loathsome thug and the writing and his acting portray him as such very well.

That description is accurate, and yet Shane was still the best character.

I liked Shane just because he wanted to get done shit that they were going to do eventually like kill the barn zombies or kill the prisoner or stop searching for that fucking girl. Although the rape established him firmly as psychotic. And he wanted to just take over the farm and kill everyone for no reason.

I'd prefer Andrea and Lori.

As preachy as old eyebrows Dale could be he was absolutely right about Shane. Darrel is clearly the best character. Rick is also much more likeable, despite wanting Carl and Lori as a family. He's less pro-active than Shane, but that plays well in his favour when Shane's ideas are batshit insane.

I always thought that a prison would be an ideal place to set up camp if there was a zombie apocalypse. It also kind of bugs me that people looked at Rick as if he was some sort of monster. Shane clearly had some screws loose and was a danger to anybody that disagreed with him. This season really picked up in the latter half. Looking forward to the next one.

No one replied to this. It's like you couldn't even see it.

...

Wait a minute...

Oh, no. I'm dead.

Yes. The first half of the second season is kind of dull, but these past few episodes have made up for it.

the latest episode could be the only walking dead episode you ever need to see and that would be alright in my opinion, it was incredible

So I guess Rick is Shane now.

They had him doing the open mouth heavy breathing and dead stare like Shane did. If I was Rick I would be really sick with everyone. Especially Lori considering Shane got killed 99% because of her and she has the nerve to get pissed at Rick.

Definitely. I read something about zombie budgets, withholding and build up to a payoff so I'm much less upset now with how those early farm episode felt.
