by the way... sight reading through "un sueno en la floresta" this evening, i realized this once again... i don't think there's anything else out there for me quite like getting acquainted with barrios's pieces for the first time that recreate the feeling of falling in love...

just wanted to reiterate that i still think that is one of the most exciting passages in the history of music!!! and the piece as a whole is an all-time great guitar composition.

agreed, its one of my favourite pieces. the guy also composed 'jubilation' which is an another awesome guitar piece, played by parkening, among others.

we have a kid in our ensemble who plays "sunburst"... i think that and jubilation were meant to be played together, weren't they?

ooh boy... scot, i was just listening to "evening dance" in headphones, and realized there's the sound of a chain saw buzzing in the background almost throughout the piece.... good old parkening...
i'd never caught it before without headphones.
i think it's awesome...

haha i always blamed that on brandon, though its very faint. sunburst and jubilation are one and the same afaik, parkening calls it jubilation for some reason. that woven harmony is a great piece too
