What an incredible one day match that was! Thought Sangakkara's innings was one of the best one day innings I'd seen, only for it to be topped by Kohli's. Some of the boundaries he hit off yorkers were unbelievable. What a chase!! Did it so easy in the end. Would have loved to see what odds India were to win with the bonus point after Sri Lanka's innings finished.

Makes Friday's match a lot more interesting. If Australia win it'll be a very confident India they would face in the finals after that. And if they lose they'll face a very confident Sri Lanka. Should be a good finals series either way!

great game, both those batting performances helped by pretty ordinary bowling though. kohli made it look too easy though, hard to think you could chase 320 with 14 overs to spare

I don't think the bowling was that terrible, it was just a flat wicket and there were some incredible batting performances. I mean, there was no where to bowl to Kohli last night. Malinga had two well executed inswinging yorkers hit for 4 by Kohli in the same over. He just glanced them past square leg with ease. Good balls, bad balls...they all went to the fence.

The best shot for me though was a six Sangakkara hit where he just flicked it off his pads. Mark Waugh would have been proud of it such was the elegance.

Have heard some people suggest we tank the game on Friday just to piss off India one last time.

What a game. No idea what Hussey was thinking by not taking the single on the second last ball of the 48th over, though. Had Hilfenhaus gotten out the next ball, the blame would all fall on Hussey. Stupid shot to get out to, as well.

well it looked like the keeper was going to get it for a bit there, it wasnt an obvious single when u have no wickets in hand. i reckonmark taylor is easily the worst commentator that cricket has ever had

Hussey was running to the danger end though, and being as quick as he is, he wouldn't made it pretty easily. Mind you, his calling was pretty shite. McKay's runout shouldn't have happened.

they blew it basically, poor options from hussey near the end but you cant blame him for everything, our upper order is shite atm , sri lanka must be hot favorites now.
