Cobain is difficult because vocally most of the songs are the same.

Actually, "Hairspray Queen" should be considered. It's kind of interesting singing for Cobain.

Yeah, I know he sounds like shit, but the purposeful nature of it makes me think it is vocally impressive for him.

Also, Aero Zeppelin is killer:

Both of those songs are better than "Sliver".

and I agree with "Big Long Now" for Number 1.

Hairspray Queen was just intended for humor. It's probably his WORST vocal performance actually...belongs nowhere near his top 10.

I was thinking about Aero Zeppelin, it's definitely a killer, top 10 potential.

That makes two of us now for BLN at #1.

If you're referring to Sir, he never really said what he thinks #1 should be.
He just said Sliver is more impressive than Frances Farmer, which I find laughable...

Also, Sherick agreed with me on Frances Farmer > Lithium.
And Yousha for All Apologies > Teen Spirit.

I chatted to him, and he seemed to think "School" is one of Cobain's best too.

Frances Farmer won't be featured in the list, that is for sure.

So the fact that both Sherick and myself agree on Frances Farmer > Lithium means nothing?
I thought ddd was a democracy.

Ha! Yeah you're right. He kind of sounds like Bobcat Golthwait, or whatever his name is. Hairspray Queen is so ridiculously badly sung, but I love it.

I like it too. The groove and the riffing are killer.

But anyway, I want to know how this....

...is more impressive than this...

No freaking way.

Awesome that Beyond The Pale finally moved to #1 for Gildenlow. What a complete performance.

1. Prague has nothing impressive vocally except for that A4 which isn't THAT impressive...
2. Where the fuck is City Of Delusion?
3. United States Of Eurasia, Cave, Hyper Music, Megalomania, all of them are better vocal performances than Starlight.
4. Sing For Absolution below Resistance? It should be at least top5 in that list.

1. Micro Cuts

3. City of Delusion
4. Prague
5. Hyper Music
6. Showbiz
7. Futurism
8. Cave
9. Megalomania
10. I Belong To You

That's as far up as I could possibly put Prague.

That's a very good list, Sippe. I'd still put "Plug in Baby" somewhere in the lower half of the list, though.
