so here's my attempt at covering fahey. constructive criticism welcome, since this is my first time actually learning a song all the way through (and this version is 100% yet).

also, a question to the fingerpickers out there...when you play do you rest your piky on the pickup area, or do you keep your hand elevated? i noticed i rest my pinky, but this makes the angle a little awkward for some picking positions.

atta boy!!!
that's very good, especially for a first try!
my main constuctive criticism is you should try to bring out the melody more... even though i can hear you already do it, but you still sound too "polite" playing it...
i never rest my pinky (that's mostly a habit of lute players), but if it helps anchor your hand and doesn't take away from its abilities, go for it... whatever works!

I don't see how they could ever arrive at those conclusions. I'm not even that angry at the exclusion of Comfortably Numb, but two fucking Radiohead solos in the top ten?

Those lists score high on entertainment factor, but I do wonder what kind of person would look at such a list and nod approvingly.

I think is a good list. Blur, Oasis, Nirvana, Strokes, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, all of those are TRUE rock guitarists.

Where are the shredders????

No. There is no single artist deserving of two in the top ten. And there are several who deserve it before Radiohead.

Yeah, keep living in your own little world in which Radiohead hasn't been the greatest rock band during the last 15 years and Greenwood is a nobody.

Nobody said that.
He just said they dont deserve two solos in the top 10.

This is getting mind-numbing....
