I hope you're right Rob. Definitely don't think United and City will be getting 95/94 points though (probably mid 80s), and I don't see Spurs breaking 80 points, though I think they'll get 3rd.

I think the next six games for Manchester United may end up deciding were the title ends up, United face Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Away and play Liverpool at home, do well in these and i think United could win the league again but it is a tough run of games and that's why i think City will win it.

No, i dont think either team will get that many anyway, but it would be impossible to pick which games teams would drop out of their remaning schedule that they shouldn't. If i started to think that way, it probably wouldn't be as accurate a measure and rather trying to guess each slip up rather than how i think teams will fair for the rest of the year.

Missed the game, but as I said before, watching them get systematically dismantled by Barca never tires.

what irritates me though, is that Barca seem to brush real aside, yet, they still are trailing in la liga. makes no sense. dont they take the other teams seriously or what ?

They're experimenting with their formation a lot this season, playing 3-4-3 quite a bit, as well as intergrating Cesc and Sanchez. And of course, naturally they'll be more up for an El Clasico than any other game.

I'd absolutely love Real to lose a second time to Barca and yet win the league. Would underscore what a joke league it is.

I don't think the rest of La Liga are as bad as people make out. Obviously Real and Barca run away with it at the top, but on one hand, you have a contender for greatest team ever, and on the other, the most expensively assembled squad ever. You'd expect them to run away with it.

Under "joke league" one of my bullet points would also be "makes the Premier League look like a bastion of Corinthian values".

am i the only one that actually prefers liga to the EPL? the results are way more boring and predictable but i find a lot of the lower caliber games are usually very entertaining, much more so than their EPL counterparts.

The skill level is certainly higher. I only watch Barca matches from La Liga so I don't know what the midtable encounters are like.

EPL or La liga has a higher skill level? I am not a fan of La Liga, even though i cant watch many of the games, but just looking at the table its just depressing.

Fairly certain he was referring to La Liga there. I only watch Barca matches in La Liga too, with the exception being a Madrid/Valencia matches.

La liga is so boring as a competitive table. basically two bullies punching retarded, poor children in the face for their lunch money and thing they want (players).
