I already love MBV's "Loveless", Slowdive's "Souvlaki", Galaxie 500's "On Fire", been listening to Adorable's "Against Perfection", The Sunday's "Reading, Writing, Arithmetic" and the Kitchens Of Distinction's "Strange Free World".. Trying to think of others, but at the moment I'm drawing blanks. Any good recommendations? I KNOW I've heard other albums, I just can't think of any and I'm in a bit of a hurry.. Be back soon.

Alrighty.. Already listened to Nowhere (And LOVED it.. Dreams Burn Down is my fucking JAM)

Gonna give Catherine Wheel a listen. Already listened to "Heaven Or Las Vegas" so I'll give "Treasure" some spins.. "Isn't Anything" and "Spooky" are gonna get some listens too.. I tried listening to "Split" and while I like the sound, I get this weird like.. medeival vibe from Lush that turns me off. That might be weird, but for some reason I get this beautifully ethereal medeival vibe that tires me quickly.. I don't know, it's just me. lol

I've got Primary Colours on my ipod, and that was a very pleasant listen as I immediately enjoyed every single song on the first listen.. I've been thinking of listening to the Pickups lately, gave them a try a long while ago but I don't know what happened with that.. I know I liked 'em, either way.

Isn't M83 more electronica and post rock, or am I just confusing myself? I'll give The Church and the Field Mice a peek.

Thanks, guys! This should give me something to sink my teeth into for awhile.

Mazzy Star's So Tonight That I Might See is one of the definitive dream pop records, get that ASAP. Beach House's first album (self-titled) is a favorite of mine, and Strange Times by The Chameleons is another classic.

There's this band LSD and the Search for God that released a 5-track EP in 2006, really cool shoegaze with those classic "swirling" guitars a la MBV. I don't think they've released anything else, which is a shame. If you can't find that EP anywhere I'll up a copy for you

A pretty decent dream-pop album that FS repped a while back:

Caroline - Murmurs
