Nah, you don't have to be limited to one club, Nick. Nothing wrong with supporting several teams, especially if they are never likely to play each other. I would say it's best to follow them to a decent level, instead of just seeing how they're getting on every few months or something.

OK, well put me down for Saints & Cheltenham then. I see Saints at least once every month or two at the moment and although I've only seen Cheltenham once I'm seeing them again in 3 weeks.

Spurs are my team from childhood but as I've grown older I've drifted from football (I still follow it regularly and go to games of course though). When I went to Cheltenham the other day (and the following week I was at Spurs) it was so reinvigorating in so many ways. I loved the smaller scale of it in all senses - size of ground, scale of support (extremely passionate - the home team were booed off at the end, but somehow it all seemed more measured and less a vent for a week's worth of frustrations as was the case at the Lane the next week), lax/non existent security etc. The quality of the football was dire though, but I left with a smile on my face. The following week at Spurs the football was superb for the majority and so really it was apples and oranges. This is sort of a longwinded way of explaining throwing my support behind two teams (well 3, when you throw in Saints). In many ways Cheltenham could be any other League Two side, it's the concept of football at that level that I like, it just so happens that I have the opportunity to go to Cheltenham reasonably often and see football.
