Huh.

I had thought she went lower than that towards the end of the word. Ah, well. Thanks!

And the lowest note here, around 4:30-4:56?

Thanks.

Great high G (G5) in the first link, B2-C3 in the second link. What is her voice type?

Thanks, Timi! I don't know her voice type. She sounds a lot lower than she actually is, it's confusing.
*edit* Wouldn't say soprano though, maybe? In that first link she uses her soft high voice through the song and it doesn't sound as powerful as her "normal" voice.

Definately sounds like a soprano to me.

Sherick: Could be, I'm not good at classifying voices. These for example sound lower (to me) than they actually are, and I noticed it only when I began to sing them myself:

*edit* Changed the second link to an acoustic live where she uses pretty much both ends of her vocal range.

So maybe a soprano with that kind of chesty quality? *edit* If I had to guess, I'd go for mezzo-soprano, though. Based on her comfort zone and the colour of her voice (not as bright as sopranos generally have). But like I said, I'm not an expert in this matter.

At what note does the whistle that comes in the background at 2:36 peak?
