ah negative San , if you gave me highlights in particular, id go for them, as complete shows are too much of a burden for me to listen to with my current speed ....

thats better, i'll put it on load, and get back to you either later on in a couple of hours, or later tomorrow...i prayed for about 2 hours straight, so am kinda tired , so might fall asleep

edit : okay that was an amazing 26 minutes. Phish must get a lot of inspiration from the dead obviously, but the dead sound (at least here) considerably happier, like they're having a godo time (more like Phish on Slip) and the musics just so sunny and fresh. The guitar playing is out the world beautiful in a truly melodic sense, and the other aspects work very nicely as well. Definitely one of the better longer tracks ive heard, one i shall favorite for future listening most certainly :cheers:

Ha, I just noticed your edit. I'm glad you liked it!

I think you've also highlighted one of the reasons why it's often silly to compare Phish and the GD. Yes, they have a similar "philosophy", but how they play the music is quite different. I rarely play them back to back. Different feeling.

FAR better sound quality, i recommend everyone who loves this (which is a lot of people now) to check it out....

im currently on cloud 9 with this, a good pair of headphones through my laptop makes so much difference. This is definitely one of the high points in live rock music

what was more surprising was that there was a good bunch in the crowd who knew the song and were singing along......there were some good solos thrown in, and the guitarist made a valiant effort to get Garcia's tone

thought about requesting for Run like an Antelope after that, but didnt wanna push my luck. It was a great gig. they also performed a lot of songs by this funk band called the meters, which were really awesome
