Too Fast For Love should not be #4.

The following cold make the top 10.

Morbid Angel: Altars of Madness
Emperor: In The Nightside Eclips
Possessed: Scream Bloody Gore
Megadeth: Killing Is My Business
Mercyful Fate: Melissa

Kill 'Em All and Too Fast for Love seem unreasonably high. Same with Facelift, actually. I can't think right now, but I might come up with some suggestions later.

Sorry, I shouldn't say unreasonably high. I think it should fall to 3rd.

Neither do I. Either it or Maiden's album should be 2 or 3.

Wow, I honestly thought this would get ignored for like two weeks.

But again, that top 10 is NOT in official order, it's just a basic starting point.

I take it everyone agrees that Black Sabbath is #1?

Also, as the ultimate Megadeth fanboy here, there's no way KIMB is top 10. I doubt it's even top 50.

Whoa, hang on there. First, you're not the ultimate Megadeth fanboy. Second, Killing is not bad, man. Top 10? No, but out of the Top 50 sounds a little too much. Again, it's a solid album.

Off the top of my head... Bonded by Blood by Exodus, Welcome to Hell by Venom, The Legacy by Testament, Alice in Hell by Annihilator. I don't know if top ten, but they should be considered for the list.

Agree that Too Fast For Love is too high, like by 50 spots.

The AiC album shouldn't make the top 10. Probably shouldn't even make the top 20.

Oooh good call on Exodus, but didnt they have an album before Bonded?

KIMB is a cool album, but I've never heard it mentioned by any other metal artist. As far as 'greatness', it's merely a blip on the radar compared to their other stuff.

AGAIN, it's not an official top 10. It's a starting point.

Suggestion:

1. Black Sabbath (Black Sabbath)
2. Kill em All (Metallica)
3. Iron Maiden (Iron Maiden)
4. Altars of Madness (Morbid Angel)
5. Blizzard of Ozz (Ozzy Osbourne)
6. Show No Mercy (Slayer)
7. In The Nightside Eclipse (Emperor)
8. Holy Diver (Dio)
9. Seven Churches (Possessed)
10. Melissa (Mercyful Fate)

Also, I realize it's not the "official" debut, but does anyone besides me think Cowboys From Hell should be on the list?

Hmmm, dunno if we can count it. Were those pre-Cowboys albums even official releases?
