Yes! That version probably is the best one.

As much as I love Dickinson more than Plant, I think Plant should've been the one called 'The Air Raid Siren'.

I actually agree. Plant's voice actually sounded like siren when he went high in gigs like Gonzaga '68.

Yeah, that opening F5 in HMMT is the freakiest shit I've ever heard....

ive never understood that name for dickinson , he never really soared IMO , he was more majestic than a siren for sure in his vocal approach .....

Oh I dont think so. I think he SOARS on plenty of performances. Where Eagles Dare especially. And certain notes, like especially the A4/B4's.

Man, Plant is so fantastic. His performances in Gonzaga Univerity from '68 are still my favourite live performances by Led Zeppelin when it comes to vocals and instruments.

one in washington ? yeah , vocals are insane, but they got much better in their latter careers with their instruments though .....

Me too. Vocally that show is monstrous. Just wish the quality wasnt so shoddy.
