Blackmore has like...a 25-30 year stretch of great riffing. At least.

Actually, Iommi is right up there with both in longevity...

I dont think anything post-Sticky Fingers is really that excellent, riff-wise.
His prime was glorious though.

BLackmore DOES NOT really have that great a material after the Rainbow days with Dio, Page and Iommi are certainly greater riffers and so is Richards, though Im not much of a Stones fan and hence id think of Blackmore for the 3rd spot, but Georgi has a point .....

and seriously , screw rankings .....

No great Blackmore material after Rainbow? Have you never heard any of the later Deep Purple stuff?! He was still a hell of a riffer. Page a more prolific riffer? Come on... :lol:

I know. I just cant believe he said Blackmore had no great riff albums after Rainbow, yet Page had no great ones after like...1975.

By 2007, Led Zeppelin were no more but the group (with Jason Bonham sitting in for his father) reunited for the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert (click here).

These four tracks are from the final Shepperton rehearsals before the O2 show on December 10, 2007.
