It is close, I just think the keyboards on Strange Days are much more ground-breaking and original.
Imo, the only really solid keyboard performance on the debut is Light My Fire.

I think Demons and Wizards by Uriah Heep should be on here. Ken Hensley's organ playing on that album is awesome.

He's currently my third favorite rock organ player, behind Jon Lord and Billy Preston.

Yes, FINALLY someone else mentions Hensley! Guy was phenomenal.
I'm assuming you've heard "Gypsy", right?

Not sure. I tend to listen to whole albums, so I don't notice song titles. What album?

Self-titled debut.
One of the very first heavy metal songs. I think this was recorded even before Sabbath's debut.

I posted it in the keyboard performances thread.

I'm going to officially recommend "Uriah Heep Live" for the live list. Ken Hensley was just on fire on this album.

He still is. His playing on Ayreon's The Human Equation shows he's still got it. His overall style reminds me of a bluesy Jon Lord.

Something by Santana could make this list, Greg Rolie was great.

Probably Abraxas...that riff to "Hope You're Feeling Better" is just boss.
