Obviously I'm voting Cutler but I'm curious as to how others see this. To me Cutler has slightly superior ability and is far closer to being a QB/Coach on the field than Stafford (which probably comes from being in the league longer). Stafford has way better numbers but Megatron, a pass-happy offense, and higher scoring games have something to do with that.

I'm asking now because this seems to be the year where since Cutler a) has matured and b) has legtimate weapons, this is the year where we find out where he really ranks and how good he can really be, and I don't want all you guys to be able to pretend you were on the bandwagon the whole time once Cutler wins Super Bowl MVP next February.

i'm not gonna pretend shit i think Cutler is overrated by a lot of people. and while he doesn't deserve the personal attacks (he kind of has the same issue as Westbrook and LeBron, he has a lot of haters in the media that pick apart everything he does) considering all the off-the-field good he does, i still don't think he's anything but an average QB.

granted, most of my opinion comes from him trying to set the interception record a few years ago. as an Indy fan, i watched absolutely no football last year until the Super Bowl (to see baby brother beat the Pats). so if he played like a beast last year, my opinion means nothing. but his stats don't look much better (except the lower interceptions, but my god there was no room to get worse in that department than he already was lol so he pretty much had to improve.)

He had 7 after 10 games last year... those last 5 games before he got hurt were almost as good as any quarterback play I saw all year. He's a long way from where he was when he threw 26 picks, and the stats don't really do him justice, he had to play lights out all the time just to make sure the offense didn't implode.

Cutler. He's tougher, has a more accurate and better arm, can do more for you on the ground, and can work behind any line. Neither are the best decision makers but Cutler I think tends to convert more of his gunslinger decisions without having to rely on someone with near Calvin Johnson's talent.

He's played behind a terrible line in Chicago. He's not the best decision maker in the league but he has other areas of his game that make up for it.
