This could all pretty much be in the Small Topics thread, but if CRJ doesn't mind, I dont either...

I like your top 20 and certainly Heart Of The Sunrise is probably the greatest drum performance in rock history. An artistic display of dynamic mastery and control....

I'm gonna include live performances....but only from official live albums:

Heaven And Hell (Keith Moon) [Live At Leeds)
2112 (Neil Peart)
Spoonful (Ginger Baker) [Wheels Of Fire)
Heart Of The Sunrise (Bill Bruford)
Awakening (Billy Cobham)
Blackened (Lars Ulrich)
Dazed And Confused (Bonzo)
Fireball (Ian Paice) *probably better than Burn, check it our Herbs*
Dimension 7 (Dave Grohl) *best Nirvana song and best Grohl performance, end of story*
Amazing Journey/Sparks (Keith Moon) [Live At Leeds)
Pictures Of A City (Michael Giles)
Rust In Peace...Polaris (Nick Menza)
Catfish Blues (Mitch Mitchell) [BBC Sessions]
When The Music's Over (John Densmore)
Larks Tongues In Aspic (Bill Bruford)
Lady (Carmine Appice)
Walking On The Moon (Stewart Copeland)

I'm a big Michael Giles fan. One of my favorite performances from him would be "Cat Food":

I absolutely LOVE Giles and think it's a shame that he doesnt have a bigger catalogue of material.

Yeah I love the whole In The Wake Of Poseidon....

I like his little jazz kicks during the flute solo and towards the end of "I Talk to the Wind".
