With the worst drum tone ever
I did something like before, not put together as well of course. Nice single pedalling.

Huh.
It's funny, I guess I really don't pay much attention to "tone" when it comes to drumming. It's significantly different than a guitar, in which you can get SO many more sounds and whatnot.
All I know is the guy is sick and probably should be on this list somewhere in the lower rankings.

Oh.
Yeah it's killer. I gotta thank beaverteeth for introducing me to Sandoval on the metal thread.

Do you think he could make the top 100 here?

In his defence, most of it sucks.

cause there is an insane abundance of technically skilled extreme metal drummers.

Also Sherick, I was under that opinion for a while, but it's changing. then again, exteme metal is pretty subjective, some people put slayer in that bracket.

Uh yes I think most people are aware of that.
It doesn't mean Sandoval is any less mind-blowing.

Did you hear the links?

Yeah, I liked the Mozart piece, that was quite tasteful and creative. the first one is something Id not really listen to isolated like that. also, I am aware of Sandoval, with Altars of Madness being an album I actually like a lot and listen to now n then. It was just the way you spoke about him, it was amusing.

This is extreme metal drumming that is way above Pete Sandoval though, and without the irritating blast beats and drum tone that the 1st clip had. It's faster, more skillful and just better.

Man, I can never understand how some people can actually enjoy death metal vocals.
*CRINGE*

Now for the drumming, it was jaw-dropping. Seriously. Blew my face off!
I never said Pete was the most skilled metal drummer though, did I? I just said that he's mind-blowing, which he is. Not sure how that's "amusing"... :eh:

Now HERE is some skilled drumming for you, without any trace of excess...

I convinced my friends that that was the reason he's so damn precise. I actually liked some of Quo Vadis, and their bassist is about as good as the drummer. A beastly rhythm section.

Neg, drop it man.
