Whatever he lacks in influence he more than makes up for with creativity and skill. Versatility is notable as well.

I'm seriously not kidding. He was one of the best pop bass players in the 80s and one of the first to start picking up Stick as a second instrument.

Paul Jackson (not to be confused with guitar wizzard Paul Jackson Jr) is a legendary jazz, jazz fusion, Jazz funk, and funk player. The guitars are great on this track. Not sure who the drummer is, but Herbie mentions him during the intros.
