Throwing 3 oranges is hard to avoid but I'm not sure which ones should be orange. San Andreas is the highest selling PS2-game of all-time, and it keeps on being called 'the greatest GTA game' along with Vice City, another really acclaimed one. III created wide impact but it isn't as acclaimed as these two.

Terrible series imo. I've hated every single one. The core gameplay mechanics are just weak as far as I'm concerned.

GTAIII has to be orange, without a doubt. Vice City can be red.

Yes. If there were to be one game from the series to have an orange, it would III.

San andreas red, vice city can stay orange; it was a huge direction from three. But i think 4 could also be top tier.

I think SA gets orange rather than VC because it got even higher acclaim, and was one of the biggest games ever released, even bigger than already-colossal VC.

I agree about III though, that one caused massive media hysteria about the game, and created those whole sandbox-shooting games.

You forgot to list GTA London, not that it'd make any difference in the rankings, but it still should be there.

My favorite game of the series is Vice City.

The ones on PSP definitely deserve at least a bold. They're great games in their own right with original characters, and the technology for a handheld machine is impressive.
My favourite in the series is by far San Andreas. GTAIV vas such a dissappointment.

Mos' def.

It's got the best atmosphere, the best music, the best city, and the most fun missions. It was really the perfect size too, I didn't like San Andreas too much because it was just way too big. I haven't played much of IV, I played it a bit a long time ago, but I finally bought it for myself during the Steam holiday sale and now I just need to play it. The little I've played I like it a lot more than San Andreas.

The fucking sun annoyed me so much in Vice City. I GET IT! ITS SUNNY IN MIAMI, STOP CAUSING ME TO CRASH INTO FIRE HYDRANTS!

San Andreas was still the most perfect GTA-game for me: amazingly well created atmosphere of 90's, kickass music, great characters and zones, etc.

I felt like he was the most drawn out character; Cj made my top 100 characters of the past 25 years list.

Not sure if Vice City should be red, at the time it was huge and Tommy Vercetti is probably one of the most popular game characters of all-time, but it was largely forgotten after the release of San Andreas.
