One of my favorite childhood games was Monkey Shines for Mac... got a hold of the game and soundtrack earlier and nostalgia'd so hard. Wish there were more than 5 levels but it had tons of DLC. Great drum bits on Spooked...

Pretty sure that the composer for the Baldur's Gate soundtrack was Michael Hoenig. John Winski was a level designer.

Just noticed the Top 10 video game songs minilist on this (which incidentally would be a good idea to be turned into a full top 100 list) and was expecting the Tetris theme music to be #1 only to see it wasn't even in the top 10. It's a strange top 10 I must say.

Just having a look at the top rated video game soundtracks on rym just for interest thought id post them here for some comparison.

One thing I noticed was how maybe Chrono Trigger and Silent Hill 2 look a little low on our list and there definitely shouldn't be any more of a large gap between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as their should be FF VI and FF VII, the top 20 over there is:
