Am I the only person who realizes how fucking AWFUL this webcomic is?

And it's considered the good video game themed webcomic.

I read a few of them on Gamespy (I think), I didn't get it.

Yahtzee has a whole rant on Webcomics, so you're not the only one who thinks they suck.

Plus the guys behind the comics just seem like total douchebags. And there's that time they got butthurt over Harlan Ellison being... well Harlan Ellison. And there are actually people taking THEIR side.

Look, I don't care if Ellison is the biggest dick in the world (he probably is), he kinda has a license to be a dick at least to people whose claim to fame is a shitty webcomic, as opposed to being one of the most influencial science fiction writers ever. Know what I'm sayin?

Their fans are fucking awful. Some of you guys may rememeber when some female members of the Penny Arcade forum who were rape victims got really offended by that one strip they did and the fanboy brigade "retaliated" by sending the girls pictures of dead and mutilated women. That's just lovely.

That's gamer "culture" in a nutshell.
