I'm looking for some great games I can play for free because I'm a cheap bastard.

There's a flash version of Portal that's pretty OK: http://portal.wecreatestuff.com/ (this game found its way to Valve, who then made an X-Box Live expansion called "Still Alive" based on the levels in the Flash game)

Also, if you sign up for Google+ there's some pretty okay free games. "Angry Birds" and "Bejeweled Blitz" being the big draws, but the version of "Angry Birds" is only the first episode.

Popcap games are great, I play those all the time. And while I haven't played it yet, I know about Angry Birds, it's more popular than god at this point.

Yeah, I haven't played Flash games in a long time. Up until I found those links, I wasn't even sure if "Boomshine" was still up (it is, and apparently Ebaums World is also stealing it, like most of their content)
