Apparently NBC has decided to wise up and livestream the closing ceremony on their website in addition to the tape they'll play tomorrow night. I hope the livestream is without Lauer/Vieira yammering. Really don't want to hear them talk over the rumored Kate Bush performance about how they don't know who she is, either.

NBC's coverage has been appalling. It's like someone with severe ADD is running the show. I can barely get into snippets of random sports before it switches either to a commercial, or some bullshit vignette about a "inspiring" personal story. For fuck's sake, pick something and stay with it. It's two weeks long, there are plenty of opportunities to show different sports without having to switch every two minutes.

And Bob Costas makes me want to kick a baby.
