I thought the Stars fucked up everything with Modano.

corrections. I see what you mean. Originally on my brief views I thought it was shoulder to head. But it was actually still shoulder to shoulder. Still, I think the NHL should be more strict on hits from behind.

Well it depends. But the honest truth was he didn't play all that well last year and more importantly the team was always going to be in his shadow because of the 1999 cup and what he was to the franchise. They honestly thought he was retiring and then he surprised them by wanting back in. For those reasons I think it was the right time to let him go and I think he should have known it was time to retire. It really wouldn't bother me except he went to Detroit.

Good work Gogo. On a side note, Matt Cooke is a douche for trying to injure DiPietro intentionally. And that Letang hit on Blake Comeau was a clean shoulder to shoulder check, yet he got a 5 minute Major/Game Misconduct. There shouldn't be any suspension.

I like that hit, mostly because Letang really doesn't look like he put a lot of effort into it. He kind of just let Comeau skate into him.

Also, fucking Canucks. Get your shit together.

Also, fucking Toronto.

Fucking Oilers suck so much.

If you guys get time, try these out:

http://www.sporcle.com/games/Lauro/00scorers_west

I got 80 for the East and 90 for the West. It's unreal how pissed off I was at some of the players I missed.

I got 91 in the East. Really disappointing :C
122 for the West, though

The hard part is remembering that last year doesn't count and that guys like Brett Hull were contributing for half the decade.

Yeah, Detroit was actually the only team I got all ten for. Some of the ones I missed truly were retarded on my part though.

I got 108 on the West (way better than I thought I would do). I'll take the East here shortly. The Jackets' 10th ranked guy is some guy I've never even heard of in my life. Espen Knutsen? Who the fuck? C'mon Blue Jackets. The Coyotes, Wild, Jackets and Blackhawks were my lowest, only got 6 each. Got all the Red Wings though.

Espen Knutsen is the greatest Norwegian play in NHL history, but is probably more famous for KILLING A FAN.

Seriously? What happened there?

Also, got 108 on the East, and can't think of one of the Lightning players.. damn!

Edit: Turned out to be Dan Boyle. I finished with 108 for both sides, strangely enough. I also forgot that Andrew Brunette played for every goddamn team in the league.

He killed some girl when his slapshot got directed into the stands. I thought it was well known.

"In a 2002 game against the Calgary Flames in Nationwide Arena, Knutsen took a shot that deflected off of Flames defenseman Derek Morris' stick and struck 13-year old Brittanie Cecil in the head, resulting in her death. Knutsen later helped set up a charity in Columbus to honor Cecil's memory. Also as a result of the tragedy, the NHL made it mandatory to install protective nylon mesh nets above the glass behind both goals."
