Why you hate Federer?

I respect him immensely as a player, but I find his contradicting nature of being super suave and sophisticated and then breaking down into tears to be very idiotic. Plus, he's a little too slick and polished for my liking.

Every athlete ever has broken down into tears at some point. That's a silly reason to dislike someone.

Berdych actually leads the head-to-head 4-2, and Murray has sucked royally in his afternoon matches at this U.S. Open (as opposed to his immaculate night matches) - and the semifinals will be held during the day. I'd say Berdych has a very, very good shot at winning.

Yeah I didn't realise he had a good record against Murray. I know he never really plays well against Djokovic or Nadal.

I still think it depends which Murray turns up. If Berdych is absolutely on fire he might be able to beat Murray at his best (he'd overpower him), but I think it's more likely that Murray's best will beat him.

Ferrer vs Tipsarevic has been a good match. Tipsy up a break in the 5th now, but you can never discount Ferrer...he has been very, very consistent in the last year or so. It's interesting because I think he's probably the least likely of the guys ranked 5-10 to beat the top 4 guys in an individual match, but he's very good at frustrating the other guys ranked just below him and fights like crazy. Just lacks a weapon.

that is of course a minor reason for disliking him. Also, I dont think I dislike federer actually. I just want him to lose. Always.

Sounds like it's high quality stuff from Novak. Too bad Delpo couldn't take out the 2nd set given he was up a break. Would have made it interesting. Delpo has never won from 2 sets to 0 down and he won't do it for the first time against Djokovic.

i wish there was even a slight chance of Ferrer beating Djoko. I love Djoko, but Ferrer winning a major would just be so awesome.
