I thought Victor Ortiz had a strong chance of beating him. I was sorely mistaken, apparently, though I haven't seen the fight.

I liked Ortiz for a while too but he was KTFO by Maidana who was beaten by Khan, therefore logically (I think) I fancied Khan as the best of the 3 of them, now though I have to say I like Petersen, but he was handed his arse by Bradley so fuck knows.
Even at 35 Mayweather is probably to good for all of them, although I hope not.

The guys an embarassment to boxing and to Britain.

Someone told me months ago that he reckoned that Haye took a fall in the 1st Klitschko fight, so that he could pretend retirement and then make huge money on a big underdog heroes comeback with a re-match or take on the brother. Sounded dumb at the time, and still sounds dumb (only slightly less so) ...

David Haye is one of the worst heavyweights I've ever seen, and that's saying something.

Exactly. Mayweather isn't good enough and that's why I'd love to see it. Hagler just beating the fuck out of him would be great.

I concur
Unfortunately I don't think there is anyone out there who is capable. I thought Khan had a minor chance at one time, not quite so sure now though.

With the possible exception of Manny, there isn't anyone out there capable at 147. Sergio Martinez would crush both Manny and Floyd. But then again he's a middleweight, not a welter. There are several fighters at 154 & 160 who, while not as skilled as Mayweather, are big punchers. Floyd could out-box most of them, but their power makes them too dangerous to fight.

Not to condone David Haye, but Chisora has the biggest inferiority complex I've seen in a boxer since Mike Tyson.

You can see quite clearly at 2:04 Haye taking the bottle from the guy on his left as Chisora comes towards him. No wonder he's done a runner ...

Setting up what could be that biggest all-Brit fight since Lewis-Bruno...

Now I am looking forward to that, none of them particularly great fighters but fairly evenly matched with Haye having the edge IMO.
