I know where Dom stands on this, but who would you consider the better player out of of Lockyer and Thurston?

Lockyer isn't fit to shine the boots of Thurston.

that's about as exaggerated as grosso's dive

NSW have almost no chance of beating QLD in the upcoming state of origin series, QLD are so stable and have their side picked with no fuss, and NSW and arguing over who should be picked and make 17 changes again. anyway the NSW side i'd pick is

1. Brett Stewart
2. Akuila Uate
3. Josh Morris
4. Chris Lawrence
5. Nathan Merritt (wont get picked again  ) so Brett Morris
6. Todd Carney
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Paul Gallen (c)
9. Robbie Farrah
10.James Tamou
11.Anthony Watmough
12. Greg Bird
13. Glen Stewart

14. Luke Lewis
15. Jarryd Hayne
16. Tariq Sims
17. Tom LeRoy Lars

Man, we have a lot of depth this year. Here's a good evaluation of both teams:

http://www.wdnicolson.com/2012/04/state-of-origin-2012-nsw-and-qld-team.html

Their biggest decision for the backs will probably be deciding whether to pick Tate as winger over Matt Bowen, Ben Barba, Lote Tuqiri or Dane Nielsen. Bowen or Barba are far more likely than Tuqiri or Nielsen, though.

NSW needs more Peter Wallace. On another note, Yow Yeh's been released from hospital

You'd play Scott and Hannant on the bench?

NSW will win this year.

Finally Stuart has dropped the language of previous years which always implied NSW needed to make the matches trench warfare and out passion them blah blah. Finally he's talking about looking to score points rather than stop them. All out attack will be too much for the boring Queenslanders.

Queensland's many things (brilliant, majestic, humble in victory, proud in defeat, just top class all around), but boring? Nah. Can never claim that.

yeah im think if petro is picked he'll start and shillington is current kangaroo's prop, hannant was effective off the bench last test, and scott has been out injured for six weeks and wouldnt be match fit for origin yet.

well its one thing talking about it and another actually delivering it. NSW will have some good attacking players in their side but can they gel as a team in time? QLD basically have the australian side bar about three players its going to be a tall order mint. to be honest i cant see NSW winning a game, one of their home games is transferred to melbourne, melbourne will be basically like suncorp with support they'll get, unless gallen and carney can perform some miracles they are no hope.

Queensland are fundamentally boring. Their game plan is always 'be more passionate'

Which basically just means pick lots of props, start fights and grind out games while yelling 'queenslander' in their stupid bogan voices. Queenslanders also drink XXXX, which is the worst beer ever invented.

Cameron Smith and Slater are the only two dangers for NSW. On the other hand, NSW will have 17 dangerous players.

NSW 3-0

26-10
34-20
56-4

 mint i love your optimism but there is more to worry about than just smith and slater.
the predicted smashing in game three would be one for the ages, if you are correct i cant wait to see how that plays out, and i wonder what post try celebrations would be on display, bring back the grenade and bowling pins !

Very typical of a Blues' fan to be ridiculously deluded and lacking in any humility.

Actually I'd say I'm more of an impartial observer making a statement based on objective analysis.

Pretty much what I always do.

I look forward to seeing your reactions when I'm proved right.

I need not.

I have already put all of my money on the blues to win the series. It's a certainty. If you want to be rich you would follow my lead.
