not disappointing, a fine victory by australia, sri lanka fought hard but so did the aussies. the role of the spinner is so vital in limited over cricket now be it t20 or 50 over, doherty played a big role in the win with his economy.

you'll be rusty and sore for a couple of days after as well, you dont realise how much cricket takes out of you until youve played after a lay off, i hadn't basically played for 12 years and a year ago i played a t20 game and was stuffed after it and that was just from bowling two overs and fielding

Gotta say I've enjoyed the last two one day matches much more than the twenty/20's. Cricket needs the slow burn and ebb and flow before the exciting finish. Twenty/20 cheats it.

i know, i was just being cheeky (look again), anyway the 50 over game can certainly still be exciting and intense, i hope they dont drop them in the future in favour of just t20's, i doubt they will but who knows?
